EDUCATION

ISSA Las Vegas is dedicated to advancing the cybersecurity profession by providing accessible, high-quality educational opportunities. Each year, we host low-cost CISSP and Security+ review courses, helping professionals at all levels achieve their certification goals. Through workshops, chapter meetings, and expert-led training sessions, we equip our members with the knowledge and skills needed to stay ahead in an evolving industry. Whether you’re earning certifications, expanding your expertise, or mentoring the next generation, ISSA Las Vegas is committed to supporting your journey and strengthening the cybersecurity community.

CISSP

The ISSA Las Vegas Chapter is excited to offer its preparatory course for individuals planning to take the CISSP exam, as well as for those interested in deepening their knowledge of information security.

This course is typically held on five consecutive Saturdays during the first part of the year. Registration for the first session covers all five classes. The course is designed to review the eight certification domains, providing attendees with comprehensive preparation for the CISSP exam.

Materials:
Participants are responsible for purchasing their own study guide. All presentation slides will be provided electronically before the class. If you require a hard copy, please print the slides in advance.

MEALS:
Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

CPE CREDITS:
Up to 40 hours of CPE credits

Security+

The ISSA Las Vegas Chapter is excited to offer its inaugural preparatory course for individuals planning to take the CompTIA Security+ exam, as well as for those interested in deepening their knowledge of information security.

This course is historically held on three consecutive Saturdays around October. Registration for the first session covers all three classes. The course aims to review the five certification domains to better prepare attendees for the CompTIA Security+ exam.

Participants are responsible for purchasing their own study guide. All presentation slides will be provided electronically before the class. If you require a hard copy, please print the slides in advance.

CPE CREDITS:
Up to 24 hours of CPE credits
